OFF RECORD

PRELUDE

This visual prelude opens the world of Unveiled. Rather than serving as a recap, it introduces the project's tone, visual language, and core tension: the gap between a constructed image and the truth beneath it.

The sequence begins with controlled presentation — crinoline, veil, a drink — where composure becomes part of the performance. That stillness is broken by a vintage phone call: the past resurfaces, patterns begin to emerge, and what seemed controlled starts to break.

As that tension builds, the symbols clarify what is at stake. The cards point to a choice: keep up the image, or face the truth beneath it. The gun marks the limit of that performance — the moment when the role can no longer hold. The "trigger" is not about violence, but about confrontation: the point where hiding stops working and the truth has to be faced.

By the end, the premise is clear: nothing stays hidden. Nothing stays veiled.

UNVEILED (Standalone release)

Released March 18, 2025.

Unveiled was the first release to clearly define Laia Gorfinkel's artistic direction. It captures a turning point where external expectations lose their hold and an internal decision takes over. Here, emotional openness means control, not overflow: telling the truth with intention, boundaries, and composure.

The track also introduces a principle that runs through the wider project: self-alignment isn't built by choosing one side over another, but by learning to hold contradiction. The song stops treating strength and sensitivity as opposites — it stays open without self-erasing, steady without shutting down, and honest even when honesty costs something.

In that sense, Unveiled marks not only a statement of artistic direction, but the beginning of a more integrated sense of self.

ANNIVERSARY SESSION

One year after its original release, Unveiled is revisited through a standalone acoustic performance.

Built around piano, guitar, and voice, the session marks the song's anniversary while returning to the piece that established the project's artistic direction.

CONCEPTUAL CONTINUITY

Unveiled was first released as a standalone single, outside the album's official sequence. It introduced the project's emotional and visual language through a state of unease: a feeling that something beneath the surface was beginning to shift.

That material later evolved into Unbroken, the opening track of EP II and the version intended to introduce the full album.

The change is not a replacement, but a progression. Unveiled captured the first disturbance; Unbroken carries that same emotional core into a more grounded and physical state.

Both songs belong to the same origin point. One reveals the first internal signal. The other turns it into motion.
