(Standalone release)
Released on March 18, 2025, Unveiled was the first release to clearly define Laia Gorfinkel’s artistic direction. It captures a turning point where external expectations lose their hold and an internal decision takes over. Here, emotional openness is not framed as overflow, but as control: telling the truth with intention, boundaries, and composure.
The track also introduces a principle that runs through the wider project: self-alignment is not built by choosing one side over another, but by learning to hold contradiction. It is not about “strength vs sensitivity,” but about staying emotionally open without self-erasure, seeking steadiness without shutting down, and choosing truth even when it comes at a cost.
In that sense, Unveiled marks not only a statement of artistic direction, but the beginning of a more integrated sense of self.
One year after its original release, Unveiled is revisited through a standalone acoustic performance.
Built around piano, guitar, and voice, the session marks the song’s anniversary while returning to the piece that established the project’s artistic direction.
Unveiled was first released as a standalone single, outside the album’s official sequence. It served as the project’s first public window—capturing the moment of exposure before the wider narrative was revealed.
The song later returns in a reworked form as the opening chapter of EP II. That same version is intended to open the full album once the project is complete.
As a standalone single, Unveiled captures the fragile instant of the break—an exposed confrontation with what can no longer be sustained. In its later placement within the project, that same moment reads differently: less as rupture, and more as awakening. What first appears as vulnerability becomes the force that allows movement forward.
